Every IT specialist / Desktop Engineer who is responsible for deploying Windows applications probably knows about Microsoft Orca. Orca.exe is an MSI database table editor for creating and editing Windows Installer packages and merge modules. The tool provides a graphical interface for validation, highlighting the particular entries where validation errors or warnings occur.
In the current release Bundle Commander has a built-in MSI viewer which has a similar User Interface compared to Orca. Editing capabilities will be added to a future release. This MSI viewer is easy to use and can be useful for reviewing and debugging purposes. Just select an MSI in the left pane, right click and select ‘View’:
The viewer will open and ables you to view the contents of a selected table in the MSI:
