Ridderkerk, The Netherlands, March 23, 2021 – Fifteen years ago, Luc Pijls started Arrows ICT. His goal was to provide customers with the best technical solution to the IT problem at hand. He wanted to deliver added value with a local focus. He and his team now serve about 200 hundred customers in the SME segment in the south of the Netherlands and as of last month they are Liquit partner.
Last year, Arrows ICT was invited to a consultation at a healthcare institution to show what online collaboration should look like for the entire group. The Arrows ICT vision was well received, so they started working with a&m impact, a social intranet provider specializing in healthcare, on the technical implementation.
The client’s IT environment was quite complex due to a large diversity of applications and IT systems. a&m impact introduced Arrows ICT to Liquit’s innovative platform, which is exceptionally well suited for bringing complex IT environments together. “After seeing the demo, we were very quickly convinced of the value of Liquit,” says Luc. They saw that management became a lot easier and that they could also use Liquit to professionalize their operations. Luc: “With Liquit Release & Patch Management in particular, we want to make the difference for our customers.”
At Arrows ICT, everything they do is technology driven. For cloud migration projects, they already worked with a solution to unlock applications, but as soon as legacy applications came into play, it was often not enough. They deal with complex environments daily, so after their first experience with Liquit, a partnership was a logical next step.
When asked where Arrows ICT can help customers with the Liquit solution, the answer is straightforward: with companies that want to make the step to the cloud, but where there is a proliferation of applications. “That’s what makes Liquit beautiful: that there will come a certain time when users, without knowing it, are already working in a SaaS application while another is on premises. The Smart Icon technology is unique and lets the end-user just do his work, without interruptions or knowledge of the technical systems behind it, ” says Luc confidently.

Lokale IT-expert Arrows ICT gaat voortvarend aan de slag met Liquit
Ridderkerk, 23 maart 2021 – Vijftien jaar geleden startte Luc Pijls Arrows ICT. Zijn doel was om klanten te voorzien van de beste technische oplossing voor het IT-probleem. Hij wilde meerwaarde leveren met een lokale focus. Inmiddels bedient hij met zijn team zo’n 200 honderd klanten in het MKB-segment in het zuiden van Nederland en zijn ze met ingang van deze maand Liquit partner.
Vorig jaar werd Arrows ICT uitgenodigd om tijdens een consultatie bij een zorginstelling te laten zien hoe online samenwerken er voor het hele concern uit zou moeten zien. De visie viel goed in de smaak, waardoor ze voor de technische invulling aan de slag gingen met de in zorg gespecialiseerde portaalleverancier a&m impact.
De IT-omgeving van de opdrachtgever was behoorlijk complex vanwege een grote diversiteit aan applicaties en IT-systemen. a&m impact vertelde over de innovatieve oplossing van Liquit die buitengewoon geschikt is om complexe IT-omgevingen samen te brengen. “Na het zien van de demo waren we heel snel overtuigd van de waarde van Liquit,” vertelt Luc. Arrows ICT zag dat het beheer een stuk makkelijker werd en ook dat ze met Liquit een professionaliseringsslag konden maken. Luc: “Met name met Liquit Release & Patch Management willen wij het onderscheid gaan maken voor onze klanten.”
Bij Arrows ICT is alles wat ze doen techniek gedreven. Bij migraties naar de cloud werkten ze voor het ontsluiten van applicaties wel al met een oplossing, maar zodra er ook legacy applicaties aan te pas kwamen, was het vaak niet genoeg. Ze hebben dagelijks met complexe omgevingen te maken dus na de eerste ervaring met Liquit was een partnership een logische volgende stap.
Op de vraag waar Arrows ICT met name veel klanten kan helpen met de Liquit oplossing is het antwoord eenduidig: bij bedrijven die de stap naar de cloud willen maken, maar waar er een wildgroei aan applicaties is. “Dat is wat Liquit helemaal mooi maakt: dat er bepaald moment zal komen waarop gebruikers, zonder het te weten, al in een SaaS-applicatie werken terwijl een andere on premises is. De Smart Icon is een hele mooie techniek om de eindgebruiker gewoon zijn werk te laten doen, zonder onderbrekingen of kennis van de technische systemen erachter, ” vertelt Luc overtuigd.
