The new Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) Azure Resource Manager (ARM) based model is available in Public Preview for everyone since the beginning of May. It addresses a lot of customer feedback, such as extra management (GUI) capabilities, AAD group support, metadata location changes and more.

Liquit Workspace now supports both ARM-based Windows Virtual Desktops and non-ARM based Windows Virtual Desktops.
If you want to learn more about Windows Virtual Desktop technical ARM-based model public preview, I can very much recommend reading Christiaan Brinkhoff’s article about this topic. It’s very detailed, very much worth reading!

It covers the differences between WVD non-ARM and ARM, User session management, custom RDP Settings, new PowerShell Modules, Windows Virtual Desktop and Azure Log Analytics and lots of other WVD related topics like using FSLogix Profile Containers.

Liquit is a certified Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) software integration partner. Liquit accelerates your move to WVD. Request an extended test drive. The best way to fully appreciate the power of the Liquit Digital Workspace is to see it in action.
